Inexpensive mini timers...

In a pinch, I just count, however this little timer would be perfect for timing instant film, long exposures or even dark room - - for about $1.50 USD:    Ebay item 260573483146

Good spot and cheap... Have a couple of old Polaroid timers but on the Bay they're getting expensive.

Though to be honest I normally wear a $10.00 Casio F-91W digital watch when on the road...

I decided to enlarge the Polaroids, because, as the wolf said to Red Riding Hood, “all the better to see you with, my dear.” Mrs Helmut Newton

I like the old Smiths mechanical timers for timing film development. They were sold under various names. Using an old analogue timer just seems to fit the process. I found one at a boot sale recently for £1. There's several on the bay for various prices.
