Minox Leica camera
« on: August 28, 2010, 02:31:07 PM »
Finally got to shoot some film thru my Minox Leica replica camera. It uses 8x11 Minox cartridge film. Controls do not work. Just aim, cock the shutter lever, click the shutter button. No focus, no nothing, but what a cool and fun camera it is. More sample shots at http://cgmoyer.blogspot.com/

Wow!!! That color is spectacular!!! Does the camera frame the image with the round corners like that?

One thing I wonder always is where the heck do you get the film processed?
Very hard to find here in Canada. I still have an original Minox Spy camera... but I've sadly never ran any film through it...

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

I am having a hard time telling if that is true looking at the negs. They are so tiny. I do see the slight rough edges though for sure. These were developed and printed at Blue Moon Camera.

Great shot, Gary - I would imagine keeping your fingers out of the way could be a problem!

Well thanks for checking Gary! And I've heard of Blue Moon before. I need to go check out the link.
