Diane, I know it's rude to mention a ladies age, but, that must make you 32 or 33!

Love the photo, was there a bearded lady?

Mass 'Stripping the Willow' dance in  Stornoway yesterday with live Céilidh band. Great fun and all part of the Hebridean Celtic Music Festival. Taken on the fly with the Bessa 6x9 rRf / delta400/rodinal. Circa f22/ .5 sec.

Something a bit radical (at least for me) this week. It was our Village show but I didn't want to do the usual people having fun stuff so I went a bit left-field. Amused the wife no end!

I guess this is my first real post. Shot last weekend, 15 minutes before a thunderstorm came in, with a Rosko (Diana clone) on Kodak 160 Ektacolor Pro.

The circus is perfect for toy cameras! Really adds to the dreamy atmosphere :)

andrea: I like the motion in the shot, it gives the scene some nice energy.

Here in (between the showers) sunny Stornoway it has been the weekend of the HebCeltFest. Made it to the concert Thursday night and ran off 3 B&W + 1 colour through the Olympus OM10. A selection of the shots.

While Chairs has a natural and appealing simplicity for me, I am begining to think I need to plan a trip somewhere with Phil. Some of your locations scream to me. This one was shot on Monday...

The Hot Summer Sun Sets on Gotham City (Polaroid 600SE 75mm and expired Type-665).

A while ago we went to an american style burger place (which might actually be 'real american' as there's a big US Army base close by). Of course I took my Minolta X-300 with the 50mm f/1.4 loaded with Fuji Superia 200.

Sounds like a great plan! I love your hotels series... One day. One day!

Apart from the frittes, not fries, it looks pretty close! I prefer frittes myself. With mayo of course! Skj.

My first roll developed in Rodinal 1:100. Quite grainy, but I guess that's to be expected from a Neopan 1600.

Thanks. Well, I drink double espressos now, but I haven't used the Guarana, yet. So I guess I'm getting as much sleep as can be expected. Three to four hours in one go isn't bad I think :)

Ah Guarana... I miss it ! Originaly from the Amazon, there's a soft drink in Brazil which is so popular that CocaCola had to produce one to compete. Now...combine with all the coffe and sugar we produce/drink you would expect a nation of sleepless people, but that never made any effect on me... I guess the best way of keeping you awake is by having a baby  ;D

Rodinal and Fuji neopan is a great combination for grainy pictures... did you use stand development ?

Yup. 1h stand development, 1 inversion after 30min. You can't take less time to develop a film :)

we had a night flickr meetup this last weekend. so i tried my hand at some long exposures using the fujipet. btw, the second shot is of the god of literature - students often pray to it in hopes of increasing their chances of beiing accepted into the school of their choice.
