Husband: I wonder how long it takes pythons to mate...

This display is just down the street from us---at a shop in Berkeley that specializes in bones, fossils, etc.---a sort of commercial cabinet-of-curiosities.  They used to have a giant blond (albino) python who was rented out for fashion shoots... I used to feel sorry for it---and for the quivering rodents who were its temporary cage-mates.

I can't imagine having this in my living room... I'd be having nightmares and my mom would totally freak out!
Some stuff I can live with but this is a bit too much.
