Topic: Daylab question

Recently a friend of mine who is downsizing gave me a whole bunch of stuff, including a daylab, and I was wondering if fuji film could be used to do image transfers and fun stuff that polaroid can be used for? i had always wanted one, but then have not thought about it for years and then she just gave it to me. Only been used 3 times i think!

She also gave me a pretty sweet Bronica ETRsi set as well. GAVE it to me....how cool is that??? Funny thing is I have never really wanted a 645 camera, but since I have all these lenses and stuff I may have to give it a go....wish she had been into the sq system, but hey, beggers cant be choosy, right?

I have a Daylab but haven't yet tried it with the Fujiroid. But from what I've heard, using Fuji is more difficult as it has to be done in the dark for some reason. There are instructions on Fuji's website.

FYI regarding the Daylab, if you can find one, they also made an SX70 base that you can use to project chromes onto SX70 film.

How come nobody gives me anything this cool?
The 6x45 is a good format. Much bigger than 35mm yet much lighter than other medium format outfits (well... maybe except the Holga )

I've done a few transfers with the Fuji film, with reasonable success. I did them by the glow of my iMac screen, not in total darkness. I think the key is actually you need to be ready to apply to paper and roll as soon as you peel, otherwise the remaining chemicals on the goop size darken quickly.
