Wow! I never thought anyone would even comment on this...I was just having fun one night a couple of years ago and changed the default forum settings from 'beginner', 'expert' etc. to something more photo-relevant.
Starting at '35mm' and ending up at 'self-coat' (or whatever it is) isn't in anyway serious or judgemental other than being a funny/ironic comment on the way the world of photography can be quite format centric/gear obsessed/snobby etc. which is exactly the opposite of what we want Filmwasters to be. Our hope is that here at FW the image is what it's all about and that while we talk a lot about techniques, styles, creative processes etc. it's all pretty format-neutral (as long as it's on film - natch
