An image from Kirkstone Quarry in the Lakes. This is on 10x8 Black Glass - the plate is a mess due to the dirty conditions and he has moved very slightly but it appeals none-the-less!

This looks like a frightening thicket to get lost in!  But I like it..
Nikon F90 with Lensbaby Composer and single glass optic.

Reminds me of a tape I had as a boy of John John Le Mesurier reading The Velveteen Rabbit!

a dear friend in London sent me an email yesterday..in it he talks about a "thicket" in Dorset..and the visual stuck!  just couldn't help it!

Here are a few from last weekend, taken along the Willamette River here in Portland.
These are from a roll of Fuji Velvia 50, shot with a Nikkormat FTN. The bridge close-ups were taken with a Micro-Nikkor 55mm 3.5, the sakura shot was done with a Nikkor 105mm 2.5.
