I was at the inaugural meeting of the Lewis Camera Club [Continuing] - where Mr Radford tinned me up. Carl was a guest of our little gathering but one of my fellow islanders lent me some magnifying glasses to try on my old Soviet plate camera. I gaffer-taped one in place, loaded up some paper and shot my colleague, William. Contact printed onto Agfa Fibre and toned it in sepia - although its not as quite the colour of this  scan but my computer is playing properly.

this is very nice Andrea - very severe too.  quite scary infact.

Really like that.  It sort of reminds me of that sort of stern, angular Eastern European style of early C20th avant-garde photography, appropriate enough if you're using a Soviet camera!

Thanks all. I had to get William onto his knees in the doorway to get this materpeice. The 'tripod' only has two levels - up and fallen down.
IO shall do some more. Maybe with a slot shutter as well :-)
