Topic: Cyanotype questions

yesterday i went to the chemical shop to get chemistry for cyanotypes.  as i read here i asked them for ferric ammonium citrate (green) and potassium ferricyanide. they didn't have any on hand but they ordered it and today i went to pick it up. but the names are not matching  up. what they gave me is: 

                         
                               potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) 3-hydrate PRS
                           
                               ammonium Iron(III) citrate green purissimum

      are these the same thing with slightly different names or do i need to return them and get something else?


   a few more questions. how do you go about disposing of what you don't use? can it be safely dumped down the drain or toilet like bw chemistry? any other saftety precautions need to be observed? gloves and mask i know(suggestions on type of mask?).

The ammonium iron (III) citrate is correct. The potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) 3-hydrate PRS is potassium ferrocyanide, not potassium ferricyanide which also goes under the name of potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) and is anhydrous. The names are quite similar, so not surprising there was a mistake there.
