Took out the Vivtar ultra wide and slim for the first time, and I love it! Only issue was that my fingers ended up in a few frames.. I will have to be a little more careful how I hold it next time!

Not usually a TTV fan myself, but this one is special! Nice. Looks like something I shot (and not really happy with), and one I am happy with. Both from my Modern Tokio Series...

Here are a few new ones, all taken here in Portland. The one labeled "Surreal in the Morning" was taken with a Leica M3 and a mid-80s Summicron 50mm. The three soft-focus photos were done with my "Myopicron" lens, which I made from a badly damaged late 50s Summicron. (I removed the first and second elements and replaced them with the rear element from an early 1900s Zeiss Kodak medium format lens that a customer gave me). "Asleep and Awake" was taken with a Nikon F2.

great stuff as always.  I went to the Snowdonia national park last week - here are some from then:

Dragons Teeth at Bryn Cader Fader - the most amazing stone circle in the British Isles (IMO).  It is some treck to find and needs an OS map and compass (or GPS if you're really flash) but well worth suffering the knee deep in sphagnum moss bogs walk.  Wow is all I can say - a truly spiritual experience .

and Conwy Falls - very powerful after all the rain from the previous week:

cheers

Played with the Holga this weekend for the first time in a long time.  It was London Open House weekend but didn't find many things without HUGE queues which were debatable if we'd get into the places at all. Eventually went to the royal pharmaceutical society's historic lambeth walk and showed us the remaining part of the Doulton (as in Royal Doulton pottery) factory. It is rather gaudy/ornate. Lots of blue/green/white glazed tiles and such.

For bigger versions (since they are rather sharp. My Holga is pretty sharp as is my focus-guessing) Go to these URLs and click the icon for All Sizes. The other pictures on the roll are also in my flickr photostream.

A shot from down the road a ways....
with the Yashica GTN.
Sometimes I think if I could only have one camera, the GTN would be it!

Made a dogs dinner of a roll of Fuji Acros, I thought I was using Elke infrared and had an infrared filter on when using the Fuji Acros. I did however get a lithprint  from this negative so I had something to show for the weekend.
