In Bed with Susan Burnstine
« on: August 26, 2008, 02:08:10 AM »
We should be so lucky....

For those of you who don't check your email...Susan has made an annoucement about her work on Fine Art TV and features a very cool clip of her. That's all I'll say about it and you'll just have to go and see for yourself. I actually wept when I watched it. Good show Susan....

Nicely put together.  Very curious piece.  I am going to have to check out more of the site too.  The piece seemed perfect for Susan and her work.  An intimate gesture really.
My chopstick is really a love poem.

Very much worth your time so please, people, go take a look. Susan mentioned that this short film was in the works, but I'm really pleased it's now finished and out there. I'll be linking to this sucker from everywhere.

Excellent and well deserved.

This morning I was getting my cup of coffee and one of Susan's images popped into my head. I started wondering what she was up to (and if she was OK) as it has been a while since her last blog. Within a minute I had read Beck's post and was watching the short film. I love it when stuff like that happens  :)

Great film. Thanks for linking.

Struggling for words here (it's been a long week!), but what a lovely, lovely piece. It says something that I was more interested in what Susan had to say than I was in getting a peek into her apartment!  ;D

Sincere thanks Beck, Ed, Gordon, Ailsa, Leon and Dave.
So honored you liked it.

Ailsa and the rest of you guys have an open invitation to come over and inspect my house anytime.
Come to think of it...Only Don Brice and David Bennett have been over to inspect.
Well, it's high time the rest of you Brits and east coasters get yourself over for a visit.
Especially you Ed. Just so you can inspect the book cases in person. :)

Yes, I highly recommend the Burnstine Towers tour.  You can find the address on those maps of the star's houses they sell in Hollywood...

Thats a nice promotion piece to have on the CV, really well put together and can only boost your profile further.  It looks really professional and holds your attention.   Well deserved.

Hey Ms. B, let's not forget Central coasters like myself! Or is it Mid Central? Or just Midwest? Anyway, I do live practically off a coast. OK, it's a lake. But it's a pretty damn big one. And fresh, too. And a ten minute walk from the house.

Anyway, someday I'll managed to get to the southern left coast and finally get to see the known center of the blurred photographic universe, too. :)

Oh, and while I'm at it, a big public shoutout on the video...

Wow! Very moved by that film. I could only dream of producing something as good as just one of Susans pictures

Susan, well done :)
Your work is exceptional & to hear about it from you (as if meeting you in person), is the icing on the cake.
