6x6 Holga Mask
« on: April 25, 2008, 11:06:17 AM »
A shameless begging post. I just got a Holga to replace the one I lost ins some far off field. It's one of the old 120n's that just comes with a 6x4.5 mask. I was wondering whether anyone has a spare 6 x 6 mask they would like to give me in exchange for a print?
(I am going to have a go at modifying a spare 4.5 mask from my last camera but a standard one would be fab).

thanks, Karl

I'm sure someone here will have one, but modifying an old 645 mask will be more rewarding...and you get to chose how interesting you want your frame edges to be  ;D

Go on...reach for the knife.

Try without a mask you might just like the extra vingetting. Tape up any rough edges so film does  not scratch.

We might want to call Sausage100 on the scene first... just in case (he is a paramedic...)

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Hi,
One of my Holgas, in fact my first one I got,  I modified it to 6X6
by trimming and gluing in a plastic Gepe 6X6 slide mount.
Works fine and still going nearly 6 years latter.

I might have one extra from a dead Holga. Do drop me a PM if you still can't find one. Might take a while to fly it all the way there though  ;)
