I've been enjoying filmwasters.com since reading about them in b+w magazine. Here's a few shots - the sea scape one taken on a Holga with HP5, and the other two with a Nikon F90x and Era 100 film

Please feel free to comment!

By the way, I've been into photography since the early 90's, but have attended a night course in the Crawford College of Art in Cork (Ireland) for the past two years. The instructor for this course is absolutely passionate about traditional photography, and has converted a fair few people back to film from digital! There's a number of us students who now have home darkrooms, flying in the face of current convention. Hooray!

Thanks! I didn't mean to post them that big. The Holga one is ok size I think. Next time I will be more careful of size!

hello - I'm liking the last pic.  probably best to keep the size to between 500 and 650 pixels on the longest side.

Hiya, great looking shots, flying in the face of opinion here but I think I like the first one best, though it is a bit too big to really see it!  Pegs...brilliant! :D

Lovely stuff Rory and welcome to Filmwasters.

Hooray indeed, fair play to your instructor for planting the seed!!!

I hear of people going back all the time, myself and a friend of mine train people and bring in trainers in Film photography only in Dublin. A lot of enquiries come from digital people. So enjoy your grain!!

Hi Fintan,

That's a very interesting website you have there - Film Photography Workshops

You could find a whole contingent of people travelling up from Cork for a course!

Thanks Rory, we actually get people from the UK and Europe over for our courses in Dublin, so send your contingent we can handle them  ;D
