Who needs layers and textures
« on: February 27, 2008, 09:26:22 PM »
... when you have an old film with a dodgy emulsion? My box of old, possibly Perutz B&W 120 film yields either nice sharp negs or textured delights like this one.  Perhaps the box was next to a radiator at one end?
Anyway, it creates a nice pinhole snap methinks. Franka Nofix with 6x6 mask.

Thanks all.
How about this one. Same sort of film, different roll. Forgot about the thing while it was in the R09 1:50 and it cooked for 30 mins. I got distracted as my neighbour took me over to see our newly assigned veg patch in the village and the weather was so lovely I just stood there and gazed over the sea.
KodakPolyPrint Sepia toned.

obviously the right thing to do while the spirits took over your developing tank. Fabulous images.

Thanks folks. Took one of these to the island camera club tonight. they were NOT impressed one bit! Ha! Apparently, it wasn't of competition standard - whatever that is!
I also took a cyanotype print and that wasn't liked either. They are, I think, somewhat lacking in any creativity.

So long as the reactions carry on in this manner, you'll know you're doing the right thing! It's when they start appreciating it that you need to worry.
