Weekend - June 10, 11 & 12, 2022
« on: June 10, 2022, 06:13:39 PM »
This is Foxee, I was dog sitting for a friend.  Zeiss Ikon Maximar 9X12cm with Kodak Plus-X Pan expired 11/1981.  Developed it in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B for 5 minutes with some Benzotriazole to help reduce fog.  The focus is a little soft, it was a bit of a struggle to get that little dog to hold still while I focused on the ground glass then switched it out for the film holder then took the shot.

This is probably the perfect picture of a happy dog :)
Foxee looks like "it's sunny and I don't give a hoot"

Your windmill series is coming along nicely Irv. :) Love the view down the road.

I picked up some of my pinhole cameras again last week after a longer hiatus. All my compositions were a bit off. I have to my "inner pinhole eye" again.

Still weekend over here. Sneaking in a late entry taken with the Agfa Super Isolette and cropped to landscape. Kodak Tmax 400, developed in Adox XT-3.

Thanks Manuel. I am enjoying the focus of knowing what I'm going out to shoot but also miss the spontaneity of looking around and coming across a scene, I can seem to do both in one session.

Adding a big punch of expired Kodak Gold 200 shot in the new to me F2.
I don't remember where I got this roll of film, but it's been sitting in a box for ages and I decided to just use it up while testing the F2 while driving in Albuquerque on old Route 66 last week.
The sunny 16 rule worked well enough from inside the car. Tinted windshields add about a full stop of filtering.
Also, the film advance lever is really robust on the Nikon F2. My thumb was sore after shooting this roll. We used to make cameras that were quite stout back in the day.
Enough chatter, here's the photo. Kinda rough, but this part of town is well represented by roughness here.
dunked in the Cinestill color kit for developing.

You just got to love those old motels :)
We still have a few in the region, but none of them have nice signs like that.

The city of Albuquerque has an old sign ordinance, that the signs stay behind even if the motel is demolished.
There are some lots with nothing but the sign left behind. It's kind of sad/cool all at once.
