I'm looking forward to spring as well Satish. That will be in about 6 weeks here in So. Cal.!  ;D

Well, I'll chime in next since 'the Christians' should have at least one post on this thread on 'the day'. Here are some festive thorns.

Whats this talk of spring, winter just started, I haven’t even been snowboarding yet.  First snow shots of the winter, one last stop at the aluminum smelter as we wrapped up the project.  Done with the fire cleanup, done with the smelter site, finally a break for the holidays and some time at home.  Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/2 with Ilford HP5+ developed in Beer

Though being a Christian and also being called Christian definitely qualifies me as a "Christian" in more than one way ;) , I really hope that all of our fellow non-Christian Filmwasters don't hold back and post lots of images in this thread -- I love seeing your photos. :)

I recently continued looking into pushing Agfa APX 400 and I keep getting surprisingly good results for such an inexpensive film. The following images have been shot at EI 1600 and were processed in Caffenol-C-H (RS) for 25m00s. I think that I haven't reached the sweet spot yet, I'm pretty sure that it's more around 27m00s. Still, I already like the results quite a bit. All images were shot with my Canon F-1.

What's that white thing on the ground, Bryan?  :o ;D
I went out yesterday morning (well, it doesn't get light here until ten o'clock) into a ghost town, the only living thing I encountered was a black cat.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Processed and scanned some stuff a while back but I figure I'd throw one more image into the weekend for good times sake!

Hey SLVR!
How are things going?
Hope the new Ontario confinement rules don't hit too hard.

Ontario's quarantine lockdown isn't as bad for me as most people think. I've been fortunate to be able to work from home through a lot of it. There's starting to be a mass of anti lockdown dummies here though. People protesting, spreading conspiracy or misinformation and disobeying orders. Numbers are going up even after we've been locked down, granted it's only been 3 days since we've been back to lockdown and it really takes a couple weeks to see the numbers fall.

So far my Father in Law has had it, really bad actually we didn't think he was going to make it. His wife got it from him, my grandfather got it in his nursing home and another distant relative from that home got it and died from it. I didn't know her all that much but shes my father in law's wife's mother.

Actually I zoom called with my cousin from Montreal and she moved to Moncton NB. She says that the RCMP just show up and do random checks on the people there to make sure people aren't gathering. I'm against things getting too "big brother" but some people here really need a wake up call. I'd say that just the general reception to the new way of life we have to deal with for now is a means of stress for me. I see deficiencies everywhere, I have to think less about it. I also moved way away from Toronto to a much smaller town. Less people to shoot, less interesting stuff to see.

I'm keeping positive about everything overall though. This won't last forever.

How about you guys? I know that you had some bad numbers but I think that Quebec overall has been doing better with numbers? I know Ottawa did great with their covid numbers which is why they were so angry about having the province wide lockdown.

Well, I live in the worst contagion hotspot in the province, so I can't really tell if things are better elsewhere. All I know is that we've had people claim this whole mess is a hoax the whole time. It seems it's a very Quebecker trait as I've noticed that it's mostly French Canadians who refuse to wear the mask. The only people on my street who wear a mask are the Muslim family and the Black family who live at the other end of the street. My front door neighbor who works in a clinic as a social worker refuses to wear a mask...
Every day we hear a few jumbo jets of people who travel south. Reporters went incognito on these flights and they filmed people taking the masks off less than 5 minutes after takeoff.
And our Prime Minister is so wishy-washy that it doesn't help. He forced the director of health services to shut-up during press conferences because he wasn't concerned with the economy. It seems all he wants is to be re-elected...
So far, I'm lucky because my parents are safe. We've been living in isolation since March, we only go out to get our internet ordered groceries.
It's a bit boring, but it's the price to pay for not getting that virus.

As for fewer photo ops, I know the situation very well. All I can say to that is Welcome to Suburbia...
