I have a vague memory of enjoying some Steely Dan tracks when I was living on a beach for a while in the mid '70s. Listening to a lot of Zappa and Spirit and Floyd so there was no shortage of good music, but then you hear something and ask, and yes, it was a bit different. But I never followed them.
But still, cameras to collect, or to shed - sometimes it does seem like a seasonal moult when you get rid of an entire format. But over recent years I've had more of a thing for making them, and while I told myself I would stop because I had enough - I am just making one more now, with the last of the timber.
