Lovely trees, Bryan - thanks for posting some shots of the CatLABS film! I've been checking out all the sample photos across the web. I'm burning through a box of 4x5 Acros I found on a certain auction site, so when it's done maybe I'll pick up a box of the CatLABS 4x5.

On that note, here is a portrait on 4x5 Acros (cropped in quite a bit). This was part of my final project for my darkroom class and is one of my favorites of the images I turned in.

That banyan is amazing Bryan.

Here's Michael, who is ten years old and too fast for me.

Thanks Grit, this past week I've been using the CatLABS 4X5.  It seems good so far but I've been using it with my microscope setup.  I'm experimenting trying to get good exposure and such so that's probably not a good test for normal use.  The price is good so I don't feel so bad wasting it.  I'm trying to get some good negatives that I can contact print.  So far I like the 120 film, it dries very flat and I haven't had any problems with it.  I know others have had issues with the way they tape the film to the backing paper, it's coming apart and jamming up in some cameras.  I haven't had that problem yet.

Very good start, I love them all!
I've been out testing my "new" Polaroid toy. Slightly overexposed, but I will dial it in next time. All are shot with manual focus, possibly not spot on. I'm a bit vary of the Sonar auto focus; it tends to focus on whatever is nearest to the camera, even if it's in the extreme corner of the frame.

Love the portrait, Grit!

I hadn't been shooting nearly as much as I'd like to for the majority of this first bit of 2019 and I have really been slacking in terms of participating here but that is about to change.

I spent all of May road-tripping the west coast and spent the beginning of June visiting friends in Ohio.

I was very excited to visit Cannon Beach and the very gloomy, foggy day actually added to the enjoyment and I think it made for some interesting photos.

Fantastic start to the weekend thread. I'm really loving Kai-San's Polaroids.

The following portrait of our very own Irv_B was taken during the Filmwasters / Sunny 16 Podcast amble around the east end of London a couple of weekends ago. It was taken on my Rolleiflex 2.8GX using Ilford HP5+.  The other portrait was of the founder / editor-in-chief of a magazine. She was attending the London Fashion Week show which was in full swing as we got to Spitalfields.

A close up of the Gingko plant in the garden. Trying out developing using Bergger PMK - really rather like it, dead easy to use.

Went out to enjoy the sunshine (for a change) on Friday, and while the film I shot in the Holga, and the film I shot in the Yashica Samurai x3.0 won't be developed for a while (building uo a backlog before I start on a set of new chems), I did shoot a few on the Instax Mini.

I'll probably be retiring the Instax once I've used the last film pack I have for it. The pics are just too small. But when scanned can yield a surreal soft look which I think worked here.

Just another shot from the pile.

Great shots this weekend. I especially like Paul's portrait of Irvine. :)

I've got two landscape shots from the Peak District. Both shot with my Canon F-1 on Fomapan 100, dev'ed in Caffenol-C-H (RS).

I really like LD's portraits and Flippy's whatever those things are.

I was sitting at my desk last evening when a parade of people dressed as if it were the fifteenth century passed by my window.  I grabbed my camera and followed them to the fair.

Thanks. It was a large pile of lamps, apparently from the parking garage nearby. They were throwing out the old ones and putting new ones in. Something about seeing so many of the same shapes and patterns piled up drew me in from across the street.  :D

Irv better not be making a bid at "most photographed Filmwaster" because if so he's got something coming! >:(  J/K, love Paul's portrait, and I hope circumstances allow me to be present for the next London meetup! ;D

Lots of great shots this weekend. Especially love late developer's portraits.

Don't have anything to share this week. Still need to get some film developed.

A great portrait of me, thank Paul but I think that I need to be more aware of my surroundings on these photowalks as I wasn't aware that you or Christian took those shots

That's because auf Paul and my "sneaky secret agent" style of shooting. And additionally in my case (attention: inside joke coming up) the perfectly discrete shutter of my Canon F-1. ;)

Nice shots from Brighton!

Lamps! That's what those are. I thought they were our new robot overlords. Nice capture either way :)

Irv_B: The bandstand in Brighton is just very photogenic, considering about 13 years ago it was inaccessible, rusting, and surrounded by large metal barriers. I was glad to see it renovated. Great shot.

The upside down house is new though since the last time i went to Brighton in May.

I took the Bronica S2a loaded with Fuji Pro 400H (yes, I was actually shooting unexpired film) to a car show for Father's Day. It was a challenge to choose which 12 shots to take. There were probably 75 or 80 cars there, every one a gem of restoration. I'll share this shot here. It happens to contain 14 selfies.

A bit late to the party here. Great shots, especially those portraits.

I went on a lunch date with a friend and walked around Philadelphia, since we had amazing weather. I carried my Contax G1 (the new body that actually works) and it performed flawlessly. Shot on Ektachrome 100VS (expired in 2003) and Xpro in C41.
