Let's see some ... PINHOLE
« on: January 31, 2019, 05:08:08 PM »
Many of you have done some I'm sure, but for this thread to endure I want to write some RULES.

#1 Post one pinhole shot (film, paper, or glass)
#2 Post another image ONLY after someone else has posted one.
#3 See 1 and 2 above.

Descriptions welcome.

This was yesterday, on 17 year-old Ilford Ortho Plus 4x5 sheet film dev'd in Rodinal 1+50 for 6 minutes.  It was in the single-shot Superior Cookie camera (which you can find on the Fixer/Maker thread)

I'll play.
Mine's from the first pinhole Holga conversion I ever did. It's on film and it's still one of my all time personal favorites.

Sandeha and Becky - I love those shots. I have couple of pinhole cameras and need some inspiration / spark to get out and try them....

Ah, good, Jonas. I hope this thread last as long as your 'bikes' thread!
I must check my fridge and see if I still have a roll of slide film.

What a great thread! Love all the shots so far. I really have to get my pinholes out again. I haven't dated to use slide Film yet, maybe should give it a try.

Should really do more pinhole this year. Might even learn that I need to be much closer to the subject than I think!

Saltburn pier with the Ondu multi-format pinhole and Ilford XP2:

The camera was set to 6*12 but that gave too much blank space so this is a crop.

Found an old one from Tintern Abbey. Taken with the Harman Titan 4x5.

Still very much a novice pinholer... so great inspiration already in this thread.
This, a variation on a composition posted back in December, from only the second film through my self-built "x-pin".

I see the thread is filling up rather nicely.
This is a public bronze sculpture in Swansea called Flying Figureheads, dedicated to those lost and saved at sea. I've shot it from a number of angles in the past but this time using the 4x5 Drax pinhole and some Kodak Pro100 colour film. Dev in Adonal, 1+50 for 15 minutes. The negative is very dark but it scans just fine.

This was my submission for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day.  Shot with a home made Polaroid Pinhole camera cobbled together with spare parts.  Shot on Fujifilm FP-100c with a 0.5mm diameter pinhole at 155mm, f/517.  The exposure was 12 minutes.

Is that really a pinhole? (just a rethorical question, of course). So sharp! Details please: negative format, "focal" length, pinhole diameter.
