I'm still trying to get a Fan Ho coffee table book, however, on the German Amazon site it's very hard to get. I think I might have to try and search for it elsewhere. I think that Fan Ho's work is exceptional. His talent for framing shots is unmatched by anyone else I know. His plays with shadows and light are masterful. He has an eye for "placing" people in the exactly "right" spot in the frame. I'm always in awe of his talent when I see his work.

A couple of Fan Ho's books in stock.

I was about to say he often puts the subject at the bottom of the frame. I think many of his shots are with the Rolleiflex on or near the ground. But I should modify that thought to say the human subject. Because the streets and buildings and waterways of Hong Kong are also his subjects, it seems.
