Twenty-four photographs from the Lewis Hine archive have been auctioned in New York. The rare prints were from the collection of the late New York photographer Isador Sy Seidman.

Thanks for posting this link.  I always am interested in another look at Hine's work.  It's inspiring to see pictures that made a difference.

The $80,000 photo was in John Szarkowski's book, "The Photographer's Eye".  It is another piece of work that was influential—at least for me.
