Nice shots Kevin. Railway museums are an embarrassment of photographic riches. Mine are Nikon N2020 loaded with Dacomatic copy film.

Taking Fluminian's pampas grass lead from last weekend.

Beautiful shots Kevin. The top one has a certain simplicity, boldness and strength.  Really excellent work.

Really liking Kevin's first shot and Andreas' last one. Mine is from a very beat up and quirky Ilford Craftsman that I want to like, but it's making it hard. Pan F+ in Caffenol.

Lots of great shots so far.  SLVR, those pumpkins are great, the color really pops out with them.

These were shot on what I believe to be Ansco All-Weather 125 film.  I've had this roll on a shelf for years with no packaging but it does look like Ansco backing paper and the tape said ASA 125, B&W Pan film.  I shot it in a Rolleiflex Automat K4A and metered it at an ISO of 4.  It came out great considering the film is probably around 40 years old.  Developed in beer.

A few days ago a camera hoarding friend I have handed me three 35mm compact cameras. A slick Ricoh FF-1, a slightly worn Olympus XA2 and a funny looking and v e r y noisy fully automatic compact that carries the name Canon MC. I shot a test roll with every one of them and then one control roll with my usual Nikon FE2. I used my go-to film RPX100@200. All developed together in one four roll tank in Rodinal 1+25 for 8 minutes. So what did I get?

-The mintish Ricoh FF-1 is unfortunately a dud. Maybe the dark Nordic weather was a bit too much for it. Too bad.
-The Olympus XA2 is very, very sharp at close range. Not so much at mid range. All in all it's quite good but nothing stellar.
-The Canon MC. Whoa! I giggled happily when I saw my first results. Very sharp but so ethereal and full of glow. Love it.

Here some samples from my Canon MC:

Three from some recent work.  The first is from a Portuguese Folklore parade in Fall River, Massachusetts.  (When I looked at the negatives, I discovered that the camera—a favorite Canon GIII—has a problem.  The aperture sticks in only one position.)  The second is from the first roll run through my new ONDU pinhole camera.  (I like it.)  The third is of the same subject—the Kelly House Museum in Quinville, Rhode Island—but taken on a Century Graphic 23 with a 90mm Angulon lens.  All three are on Tri-X, developed in Xtol.

Kevin's, Jeff Warden's and Bryan's photos are among my favorites this weekend.

Mine are a couple of grab shots from a walk back to Liverpool Street for my commute home. That night, I went via Leadenhall Market with my M7 loaded with Cinestill 800.  I've had to balance the colours a bit as the scans looked very strange.
