I've been subscribed to NASA's Flickr feed for a long time now. One of the best things there and it's definitely recommended.

Thanks for sharing Hookstrapped, I love this stuff.  I've had a fascination with NASA since I was very young, probably because my father worked in aerospace and even worked on the Saturn V rocket in the 1960's.  These have a very different feel than the photos I remember, they give me more of a feeling of being there.

My favorites are often the test aircraft and the very weird apparatus that they used at the time.

Thanks for sharing Hookstrapped, I love this stuff.  I've had a fascination with NASA since I was very young, probably because my father worked in aerospace and even worked on the Saturn V rocket in the 1960's.  These have a very different feel than the photos I remember, they give me more of a feeling of being there.

My understanding is that these are raw scanned images. I'm tempted to play around with the color balance, etc.

Yes! That one grabbed me as well, great image. A bit vertigo inducing in a fun way. I took on Hookstrapped's idea of playing with color correction.

They are fantastic shots. I was lucky enough to go to NASA in Houston once, I'd highly recommend it if you get the chance. As a real sci-fi nut when I was young to sit in Mission Control was such a thrill.
