Happy weekend everyone,

I exposed three rolls of Portra 160 last week while in Colorado, and then mixed up the blix and developer, ruining the first roll.  :-(  The other two rolls turned out fine but of course the roll I lost was the one I was most looking forward to.  I think it had the Afghan girl in it.  And the crazy kid with the hand grenade.  And Georgia O'Keeffe's hands.  I could have been a star!

Those pinholes are sharp Sandeha!  Gimenosaiz, did you know the dinosaur was there when you took that shot?

These were both shot with a Baby Rolleiflex on Kodacolor-X that expired in December 1973.  Developed in beer.  I used Fosters Lager this time, it's good to know our friends down under can develop film in beer.

I love Antonio's sneaky dinosaur. Miljenko and Bryan's b/w also caught my eye.
Another shot from N. Idaho. This one was over-exposed, so the colors went all wonky.

I thought the dinosaur was the guy behind the camera!

I also shot a roll of Konica 160.  Weird stuff (probably because of age) but it seems to shift toward the yellows and greens in certain lights and toward magenta in others.  These were shot in my recently refurbished Primo Jr.

Or could it be because you're on your 5,000th use of your first batch of C41??  :P ;D ;)

Nah...no such luck.  Third batch since April 2015.  When I shoot Portra it looks just like it should, but these older stocks do some *interesting* things with color.

We have boats, beasts, beauties, and a lot of wonky colored old film. How lovely!

Really like Flumi's door Knobs - Antonio's portraits of Lucia are always a pleasure - Irv's weather-worn boats are very nice to look at. Great skies, imagesfrugales !

Very nice shots!

James,
Don't worry about the colours of Konica 160. After all, it is expired and to me it looks like a shot taken 40 years ago that has fadded.
Nice shorts on the guy!

Always great work in these threads! With Ektar increasing in price, I've been trying Fuji 100 in my Bessa. Not bad, but lacks the overall creaminess. Nice latitude though. Some snaps from last week in the countryside...

Always a pleasure to see your shots Skorj!

Here's one of mine from May that I just got around to looking at. Taking with a Bronica SQ-Ai, 80mm f/2.8 on Ilford HP5+

Thanks. I think I’ve worked out the exposure compensation that I like so hopefully I’ve be more productive. It’s been a bit of a learning curve working out what works and doesn’t work.

Great and varied selection this weekend.  Particular fave, for me, is Urban's shot with his Bronica as well as Skorj's first shot.

Mine's a reflection in a window of a coffee shop on Piccadilly in London. Nikon F5, 50mm f1.4 AF-D and Ilford XP2 Super.

One from a film I shot a few months ago, only finished off recently and got round to developing this weekend. Surprised by this one, as it was taken on an old Agfa Optima 335 scale-focus, but seems to have worked pretty well.

Mining the archives for something this week. Still working through all the photos from France, which will be coming in a veritable flood at some point in the future. For now, we have this. Zeiss Ikoflex Ic, HP5+ in Caffenol C-H(RS):

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.
