Some Old Volkswagens.

Every year there is an event in this city called the June Bug Rally. It's not really a rally, more of a motorized treasure hunt for VW fanatics. I went and took some photos of the "finish line" with an Exa 1c loaded with Agfa Precisa. Some of the images have dark edge to them at the top of the frame, a symptom of a slightly sticky Exa shutter.

Some very wonderful cars. Is than an air conditioner or a rocket launcher? Well shot and well chosen subjects--I feel like I'm at an old-car rally.

Nice photos. I love the look of those, especially the unrestored ones, but I've never driven one. I'm given to understand it is not an overwhelmingly positive experience, which is disappointing.

I love that "rocket launcher"
Never knew those things existed, or I would have totally installed one on my 1972 Plymouth Valiant when I had the chance
