UK Holga processing
« on: October 02, 2007, 12:46:17 PM »
Hello,

Anyone got any suggestions for UK based processors who are cheap enough to process some fairly hit-and-miss Holga films?

Am I about to unleash a torrent of replies about learning to develop my own film?

Thanks,

Chops

Hello Chops.

I've used transpacolor which is ?3.34 for process only (delivered). Normally they are OK.
see: http://www.transpacolor.co.uk/

I've also used Peak Imagine who are ?3.42 but have delivery of ?1.25 for a single roll or ?2.50 for a batch of rolls.
see: http://www.peak-imaging.com/

Hope that helps,

Dave.

Chops!  welcome to FW.  the answer to this quesiton is of course .... YES!

If you want cheap, you must develop yourself - go on, it's easy.

Heya Chops,

I second Daves recommendations for Peak Imaging, they're who I always use and I usually send off five or six rolls at a time.  Their turn-around on process only is fast and service is good.  Never yet had a bad experience.
Leon...process at home better I know but..... ;)

I'm not sure if I'm just lucky but I take my film to my local processors and they do develop only for me for ?3.50 in half an hour. They'll chuck pretty much anything I give them through their machine, from 110 to 120, all for the same price.
It might be worth chatting with your local shops before you spend money on post and package.

Just a thought
