I put a lot of photos on Flickr still and I use the groups as a rich knowledge base for almost everything photo-related. The UI changes have been irritating, but we adapt. I don't know anywhere else that gives a TB of free storage. I tried Ipernity, but that UI was worse and I ran out of free storage in very short order, even storing images of moderate resolution. Besides, iPernity is blocked at work whereas Flickr is not. If anyone knows of a site that has Flickr's up-side without any of its down-side, I am all ears. Posting on my own dedicated web site is fine, but I don't get any interaction there. I am starting to use Google+ more these days. There is some good activity in the Film and Analog Photography Community. I hope Flickr doesn't go away or start charging for what is now free. If they maintain the status quo, I'll probably keep storing my photos there indefinitely.
