When I was living and working in Manchester, I used to spend a fair bit of time in Liverpool and many of your excellent photos show some very familiar landmarks. It used to have more green space per head of population than any city in the UK. Not sure if it's still the same but I used to enjoy my visits there.
Great set Charles.
PS - did you get to Edward Chambre-Hardman's studio? I think it's National Trust these days but I've always wanted to visit as he documented Liverpool in its sharp decline after WW2 and also produced some of the loveliest studio portraits I've seen.
