Fantastic images, Sandeha, but I know I've seen the lower one before.

Sandeha's 1983 images sent me off to see what I had from the same year. This is Ennerdale in the English Lake District, on Kodachrome:

It's now on FB and Flickr, but I scanned it for the first time last week.  Maybe just a lot of folks copying my style over the past 33 years ...  ;)

Indeed Kevin, old is sometimes very nice.   :)

I love the colors in Kevin's snowscape.  My two are both from a roll of HP5 in the Yashica 44, souped in Rodinal 1+50

These are from a trip to Costa Rica, there are more on the Photo Essay forum: http://www.filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=8503.0.

Shot with a Canon AE-1 using Ektar 100.

I was trying to photograph this from my lounge chair when it was in the tree above me but it was too far for my lens.  A few minutes later it fell in the pool.

Oh my ..., what an amazing start into the weekend. Congratulations to everybody. Here's my modest contribution:

I missed this roll, shot last summer, but could't find it anymore. This week I grabbed my Oly XA to load it with fresh film, opened it and found the exposed roll of Kodak Ektachrome Professional 160T, fortunately already rewound. Exposed at EI 100, cross processed in my homemade C-41 developer. The grain is really impressive. Since I still have some rolls I should try a regular E6 lab processing.

Apologies in advance for the sentimental photo. After just shy of 19 years with me, Mackenzie died this morning. This is how I'll remember her, as she probably spent half her life in that spot on the bed. So long, Kenzie.

Really sorry to hear your news O2. We lost our 18 year old earlier this year and we still miss him a huge amount. Pets are our "kids".

No problem at all. I posted simply as a personal remembrance, with no obligation or expectation of reply from anyone, but my sincere thanks to those who passed along their thoughts.

Kenzie was a very good and fine little slip of a cat, and she will be missed :(

As for my offering this weekend, I'm also going with water, as it makes for a soothing image, and who couldn't use a little soothing these days? (Praktica FX2, HP5 in Caffenol)

I don't do many people pics. This one of my son showing off by the pool happened spontaneously. I think I accidentally flipped the lens on my Argus Super 75 when I was cleaning it.

Some really lovely shots on this thread. I'm especially keen on some of the colour photographs. Here is my contribution. Shot today on Fomapan 200 pushed to 800. The whole roll were photographs of my partner and this one was I think the best.

Hi Folks

Long time since I posted, I have been busy scanning a ton of old images and that sort of sucked the life out of photography for a while!

I was uncertain about posting these photos. To be brief they fall into the category of documenting the racist, sexist parts of one's heritage -- the parts that would be better to have not existed. But they are a part of my heritage as this place is from my hometown and was actually a thriving and 'fancy' place when I was a kid. Needless to say, this area (like most places in Canada) did not have a glowing record for its relations with the indigenous peoples.

FYI: Not to imply anything is accurate in the artwork in these images but the Chippawa/Ojibwe/Ojibwa did not use the tipi

Hey! Hey! Hey!
Look who's back!
I've been wondering what you've been up to for all that time?
Must say we kinda missed having another Canuck around here.

Thanks Francois! I'm glad to be back and will try to contribute regularly as it keeps me film wasting. Speaking of us Canucks, I hope I have made us Canucks proud in the "we aren't always nice/polite and can be as sexist/racist as anyone else" department  ::) To you non-Canuck 'wasters please do not take that as a challenge to try to one up me!!! I dont want folks traveling to the nearest Westboro protest merely in an attempt to find a more offensive image!  ;)

Regarding my absense I have been busy in film but mainly scanning some 'historical' stuff from the 90's. I could have posted some of it to the weekly thread but I like to have that stuff be recent shots. I may post a thread of some of the photos, as I was pleasantly surprised by some of them.
