James Nachtwey on 9/11
« on: September 11, 2007, 05:34:01 PM »
There are a select group of photographers that I call favorites, but when it comes down to it James Nachtwey http://www.jamesnachtwey.com/ has some of the most influential and important set of eyes out there today imho.

I saw War Photographer http://www.war-photographer.com/en/ a year ago,  but the film continues to resonate to this day. So powerful.

And on the anniversary of 9/11, thought I'd post a link to his images shot on those days...  http://www.time.com/time/photoessays/shattered/

(not sure if he shot these images in digital or film...but since he's known to shoot mostly film thought I'd slip it by anyway)
