East Mersea.
« on: November 06, 2015, 04:07:13 PM »
I took a trip out to Mersea island and Tollesbury on the Essex coast last Friday carrying some holgas and the Mamiya Universal Press loaded with Ilford SFX200.  SFX 2000 is not a real infra red film but I wanted to test it using an IR filter to see what results it would give me.  These photographs were shot at East Mersea and I like the muted IR effect of the SFX200.

Love the top 2, Charles - all dark and moody. Great set.

Yeah, I like the subtlety of the IR effect. Nice set there Charles.

I have for a long time wanted to get to Mersea Island area and these have whetted my appetite further. The first and last ones top my list of faves.
