WTCD 2015
« on: September 18, 2015, 03:20:58 PM »
I decided to do something this summer on a rainy day... make yet another WTCD poster!
And yes Becky, this one's for you :)
This time I was definitely inspired by a calendar of vintage advertisement I have on my desk.
I hope you enjoy ;)

Here the link to the big PDF file.

Rats, I'll be on the road that day. Well, I guess a person can take a picture from a van too.

Definitely, as long as its a toy camera, we don't care.

Nice poster!
Although I don't know why a vacuum cleaner cannot be a toy. You can press a button and it makes a lot of noise and sucks things up. I played quite a lot with my parent's vaccum cleaner when I was a kid.  ;)

Mom used to give me vacuum cleaner rides when I was a young child :)
It was just as much fun as a horse!
I don't know if this is common for everyone but it sure was in my household.

Oh shoot, I forgot! I suppose it's technically not too late, but I've really only got my Konstructor (the pin that holds the film in the Holga broke and I haven't fixed it yet) and it's already 8pm. It officially has a B setting, but it's really not practically useful.

I might have to declare an extension and count this as World Toy Camera weekend!  ;D

Oh crap! I totally forgot that! Could have taken the Holga and the old Sunpak flashgun to a local beer festival if I'd remembered!

Nice one Francois!
And I have to say that I have the exactly same camera advertised! Only with the name of Gevaert :)

Don't worry about extending it a bit. I didn't have time to go out yesterday either... It was a house emergency so I'll have to go out today...

EDIT AT 18:00
Had a nice afternoon albeit a cold one.
I discovered a park I had never been to.
I hope the Sprocket Rocket in cloudy mode will not underexpose too much under a fairly dense tree cover and a dull gray sky. I might push the Fomapan 400 by a stop to put odds on my side as I didn't meter a thing (use the force).
Still got some frames left... will have to find something to finish it on this week.

the extension is okay.

The official day was October 17th, but I saw a couple of online sites that had it as the 18th.

Ever since World Toy camera day started...it has taken on a life of it's own.

Some would argue that everyday is toy camera day!

I'm just happy to shoot film!

I flipped the lens in my Hawkeye in preparation for it.   Then I got shipped out of town on short notice and forgot to bring it with me.
