I Love Lith
« on: September 06, 2007, 03:49:32 PM »
I went into the darkroom on Tuesday and started to print my negatives from this summer's vacation in Europe.  I printed this image of a Venetian mask in Lith and I'm very pleased how it turned out.  Thought I would share.

Lith is always fun... too bad the developer life is so short...

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

nice use of process to match the picture rebekah - this would still be nice if it were a straight silver print, but the lith lifts it I think

Great image, itys the inspiration i need having done a course with Tim Rudman earlier this year but have not got into  the darkroom with it yet. We dont have a great choice of papers over here, what did you use here.   Looks like Forte. Recently met the guy who owns this site www.lithprints.com.  Worth a look. He mentioned that he does not tone his prints, plain lith with Forte paper.

REally beautiful result.

I have a started kit on the shelf.  This is inspiration for me to check it out.  I love your choice of subject.  Fits nicely, imo.
