Let's get closer to nature
« on: May 19, 2015, 02:40:31 PM »
Today I scanned a roll from more than a year ago. Back then I used a Pentacon Six (from Andrej) with a set of extension tubes and a Biometar 80mm lens (sold to Sid :'() to shoot close ups of various flowers I encountered when out and about with the baby in the stroller. I would have loved to go on long photo trips, but this was the best I could do back then and it didn't turn out that bad, did it?

Maybe you guys want to share your images, too! I definitely will keep adding images over then next weeks while working through my backlog.

Very nice Urban, why did you sell that camera? ;)

I just took this a few weeks ago with a Rolleiflex Automat TLR Using a Rondo Close-up attachment.  Kodak Ektar 100.

Nice samples.

This is also old, from a Rolleiflex 2.8F and close up lens.

We're off to a good start, I think!

And Bryan, yes rub it in. >:( I still own the camera and the extension tubes. Now I just need to get a new lens.

Can I offer up an oldie?
Some Nigella seed heads.
Nikon F4, that much is certain... colour slide film, no doubt... but then it all turns to guesswork... may have been provia, may not...

An oldie from me.  This thread has reminded me to get my Kiev 60 out with its extension tubes and to use up the 5 rolls of expired Ektachrome 64T wasting space in my freezer.

We all have flowers but don't dare to show, haha.... Very nice idea, so nobody's left alone but part of a highly reputed bunch of people. Of course once upon a time I also made a flower pic. Real Agfa CT100 slide film crossdeveloped, shot with homemade Mona-the-meniscus lens.

Both with my trusty old Pentax SFX with extension tubes.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Neat stuff all. Here's one I shot a while back with a Zero Image 4x5 pinhole on Polaroid Sepia.

I shot this with my Recesky 35mm TLR on some expired Kodak Gold 200, slightly cropped in post. I really like using this camera, but it's shame the shutter doesn't always fire.
