..... well part of it, in fact the first part built following the Act of Parliament in 1766.

The canal runs from Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire in the South to Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire in the North and this section is between Wightwick Mill to the south of Wolverhampton to Aldersley Junction the the north of thr town.  This is a regular walk for me and my dog and although not as busy as when it was opened in 1772 it still carries a lot of leisure/pleasure traffic.  It includes James Brindley's first lock at Compton, which became the model for all future narrow canal locks on the Midland Navigations.

Canon EOS 5, EF 1:3.5-4.5/20-35, Fuji Neopan Pro 400, stand developed in R09 1:100 for 60 minute

Got to agree - lovely series and hope to see more.
