I took these before WTCD, so thought I would share in a separate thread. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Portra 160 did in the Hawkeye. At f/16 and 1/30sec, you would think that it would do best in daylight with iso 25 or 50 film, but I took some daylight shots that look just fine. I guess it is a testament to the latitude of this film. These shots are more 'twilight', so the 160 film is probably right on the money, exposure-wise. There was a crack in the housing that caused some light leaks, but I don't think I mind it too much in these shots with the flipped lens. I have subsequently fixed the crack (JB Weld to the rescue - again) and I un-flipped the lens. I love this camera and the simplicity of it. Feel free to share your own BHF shots here.

Thanks Reinhold.

Francois, your comment made me think of Jack's comment over in the Fred Herzog thread that color triggers memory. Sounds like you have a few from more tropical climes. Don't be fooled though. Our day time highs are all the way down into the 70's these days! Well... today it will be over 80, but mostly we are descending into the cold, dark San Diego winter where people actually wear long sleeved shirts!!
