I went to the William Klein and Daido Moriyama exhibition in London a couple of years ago and enjoyed the William Klein side of it a lot more than Moriyama's. However, I saw some of William Klein's more recent stuff and he'd "gone digital" (became Sony Digital Imaging's first "ambassador") and, in doing so, appeared to have turned the contrast, brightness and saturation dials "up to eleven". I can't say it was a look I care for.
Very interesting bloke, though, and I'm hoping to pick up a couple of his earlier books for Christmas and/or my birthday.
