Sad day; I just read that Swiss photographer has died at the age of 81.
"An ounce of perception. A pound of obscure".

Well, 81 is a pretty venerable age when you consider everything he's been through.

Well, 81 is a pretty venerable age when you consider everything he's been through.

Can't say I know diddly-squat about his life and times but I like the photos he took - well, the ones I've seen.  Just sorry to lose such a talent.  Must do a bit of scouting around for more info.

I know he was following the Cuban rebels when they threw out Batista... When you cover war, I'm pretty sure it takes at least a few years off your life!
