LegacyPro developers
« on: October 26, 2015, 03:09:15 AM »
Hey folks,

Hope all is well.

I've been a huge fan of D76 and XTOL for a number of years as "standard" developers for Ilford HP5 and Tri-X (sometimes Ultrafine XTreme films also)

I've come across the LegacyPro L76 and Absorbic Acid alternatives on Freestyle

Does anyone have experience with these?

I see they are much cheaper and are said to have very similar results

I use their Xtol developer and I notice no difference at all. It's legit.

Hi Jedilost1 and welcome to the FW team.

Don't forget to tell us something about yourself (there's a sticky "Meet the Filmwasters" thread at the top of the Forum).

Also, it'd be great to see some of your work.  If you haven't noticed already, we have a Weekend Thread to which many of us contribute.  Then there's the various podcasts, etc.

Hope you enjoy your time here - we're a friendly bunch.

Best wishes, Paul.

Awesome! Yeah, let us know how it is. I'm curious to see how that stuff works.
