I'm not sure if anyone has seen this yet. I just stumbled upon this series myself this morning nerding out to leica videos. These videos really do hit home with me. Skateboarding was what got me into photography and I looked up to these guys when I was growing up.

I remember Ray Barbee from the old Bones Brigade...

And now I'm getting nostalgia for the old days...

I thought ray barbee's video was actually the best. I know for a fact atiba doesn't shoot solely leica gear as i've seen him with many different cameras over the years.

Isn't it funny that I never thought of a Leica as the perfect skateboarding camera?
Yet come to think of it, they don't suffer from blackout like SLR's, they're robust yet fairly lightweight, have excellent lenses, can be used fairly close like most skate pictures...

The only problem with leica is no fisheye! Though I suppose there is the 15mm CV superwide...

as mentioned before the 'shoot all skaters' and 'portfolio' segments on www.theberrics.com are all well worth watching too, although some are video rather than stills focussed...
