I know this kind of thing has been done in other places but I am still amazed at the way the look, film stock and faces can make you feel.

Fantastic archive. So reminiscent of many of my family's holidays (mum, dad and myself) to Devon and Cornwall in the late 1960's and 1970's. The world was a much less hassled and less manic place.

That collection just reminds me (once again) that I need to start going through the thousands of slides my father shot in the 60s and 70s.

Makes me smile a bit because I saw a short documentary on France's Nationale 7 (the vacation road) and there was a bunch of guys who were restoring antique camping gear, old cars, finding everything from the 50's and 60's and doing meet-ups as if it were the old days. No iPhones allowed. All pictures were taken on brownies
Just google "les tontons campeurs" for a bit of nostalgia
