That is pretty cool.
In addition to a nice collection of his awesome images, the information about each pic is great. I also like the user-directed tagging that they have enabled for it -- very trusting and useful  :)

Last night, I went on wikipedia to check out how his rapatronic cameras work.
Lets just say this guy was really a genius!
The Rapatronic is a camera with a non mechanical shutter. It features absolutely no moving parts!
And this means it's really fast. He used it to take some pictures of explosions at 1/100,000,000th of a second to capture the initial stages of detonation on large format film... and yes, you read right, that's one/one hundred millionth of a second.
