Geez, you guys are a hard act to follow. My humble offering is from my Voigtländer Perkeo II on Kodak Tri-X in Caffenol C-M (RS):

and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Impressive, O2; I like the interplay of parallel and converging lines there.  My own are from a disused nursery I'd been meaning to visit for months.  It's surrounded by a chain-link fence, so I shot with the lens pushed up close to see through the openings.  Some kids have made a gap that's kid-sized--I may think about enlarging that; I'd love to get in there with LF gear.

Peter and Nigel.  Love 'em both.

One more from me. I've been having a play with a badly exposed and out of focus neg using LR4 and a split tone effect.

Fun weekend thread!

Nigel, I always love your Holga work. Jonas, very fun liths! Nice bokeh on the bike shot, TinTin. Mystical pinhole, Diane! Nick, that is way to sharp to be a Holga, lovely tones, just fantastic. Nice color and feel, Urban.

Some randomness from me from some test rolls. It's amazing how much film you can waste with a power winder!

Some point & shoot love: Pentax IQZoom 735, thrift shop find for $3.50 USD, so as a good filmwaster I filled it with Portra 400 and quadrupled its value. Portrait of the sun:

Untitled by knapjack, on Flickr

Portrait of the kiddo (cheating with Portra, the indoor flash shots had fantastic skin tones):

Untitled by knapjack, on Flickr

Portrait of a birch tree. Different camera: Canon T70, thrift shop find for $4.50 USD without lens. Used a 1.8/50 from a garage sale camera to bring the total to $5.50. Expired Superia 400:

Untitled by knapjack, on Flickr

I love a good thrift shop.

This may be my favorite weekend thread ever. I love every image here. I have been in Boston all weekend (shooting occasionally, of course) so I probably won't have my weekend shots ready for another few days. Good thing, as I don't want to muck up this thread with my amateurity! :D

Shot and developed this weekend. Hosted a Black & White Film Photo Walk on saturday. It was a good group, had a lot of fun. That there was a brewery en-route with a tasting room didn't hurt.  Yashica D - Ilford Delta 100 - Rodinal 1:50 for 14 min.

It's a polarizing fountain at the financial district in San Francisco, CA by Québécois artist Armand Vaillancourt, a supporter of Mouvement souverainiste du Québec. A bit controversial as it's somewhat political . Often called Québec libre since the artist spray painted that in red on his own work because of that in the past it was often being deface with spray paint.

I know it's quite polarizing... I live in Quebec...

Mr. Vaillancourt is quite a persona. From what we've always seen of him on TV, he's a strongly in favor of the separation of Quebec from the rest of Canada, he's always very angry, he's quite p***** off that none of his major works are on public display in the province, he hates everybody who's a foreigner in the province (especially if they're English speaking), he lives in Montreal, he once set on fire his former best friend's studio simply because he came back to the province from France (it nearly put Robert Roussil on the street because the studio wasn't insured)... and he's considered a good guy by the media!

Since we're having elections in the province, he's bound to come out at one point or another...
