Redscaling and cross processing ektachrome E200
« on: September 12, 2014, 10:51:22 AM »
Having read Indofunk's My first redscale piece I thought let's give that a go. Still had a Ektachrome E200 35mm cartridge that I once accidentally winded the leader in. So Cracked open the cartridge and made two redscale rolls. Loaded it in to my trip 35 and went over to my abandoned wheelbarrow to do a test roll from iso 25 to 200. Developed at home in a Tetenal C41 kit, the results are below. I like it best @50 - 64 -80 from 80 on it starts to lose to much detail in the shadows. Think I like the colors best @64, what do you think? Anyways a fun little experiment...  ;D

Excellent experiment! I like it best at ISO 40 actually.

Well, this gives me something to do with the rolls of Ektachrome E200 that I got as part of a lot. I've found I don't particularly care for the faster Ektachrome emulsions, but I like your redscaled E200!
