Fuji Mini 90
« on: December 31, 2013, 09:54:55 AM »
I have a few quid burning a hole in my pocket following Christmas and I would like to get it spent on something good before it ends up being twatted up up the wall on something pointless like the mortgage or servicing my car.

Does anyone has any experience of the new Instax?    Im tempted...

I had a good look at it at Silverprint and it is a very nice piece of kit. But... I asked the Fuji bloke if there were any plans to make a Neo-Classic version of the Instax wide and he said that he wouldn't be surprised if there was one in the pipeline. The 90 has been very successful, so it bodes well for the Instax. So I'm going to wait, as I prefer the larger format photos. But if you want a smaller camera to fit in a jacket pocket, go for it. The garage and mortgage company will understand.

I handled one last time I went to the camera shop and it is indeed very nice.
It has a few more features than the Instax 8 and a rechargeable battery which makes it pretty light in hand.

I must admit I was really tempted when I saw it.
