« on: June 22, 2007, 11:14:54 PM »
sorry for the long link, dunno how to make 'links' here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ANDY-WARHOL-His-70s-Pop-Art-Polaroid-Camera-Studio-54_W0QQitemZ180131347050QQihZ008QQcategoryZ60360QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

i love this part:

like your going to ever use the thing.

I don't know if someone can certify it really was the camera used by Andy... I really doubt so.

As for the short links, it's easy:
click on
you will see <url> </url> (except they will be square brackets)
in the first set of brackets, modify the tag to it looks like <url=http://your.url>Name of the link</url>

and there you have it.

Your Link would look like Andy's camera

Sean, that part cracked me up too. Maybe we should 'ask the seller a question' and get him to try it out for us before we consider bidding  ;D

is it lazy of me to reccommend popups when you float over the BBC tags? i get most of them, but wouldn't have guessed the globe was a link button! no idea what the little graphs are either...tables? the typewriter? i see it's all under help...but i'm lazy.  :P

crazy. so because warhol touched it/used it it's suddenly worth a lot of money? i mean if it was autographed maybe i could understand some of this, but it's just a camera which if seen on the street most people would just pass by(of course that could be said for most of the cameras i own).

speaking of the one step i think it's a one-step that's used in an episode of wonder woman, where there's a kid that's psychic who uses his polaroid to find out things about that person. their secrets will be revealed in the double exposure of the polaroid. the second exposure of course being ghosts of loved ones or some hidden secret (ie wonder woman's secret identity).

on the topic of the various forum code, is there a way to choose where photos we attach end up? do they always have to be at the bottom of the message or is there a way to embed them within the message?

The tables are just that, tables. The typewriter writes the text in teletype typewriter style

I think all the pictures hosted on the Forum end up at the bottom of the message. If the files are hosted on another site (like Imageshack), you can put them anywhere in the message using the button.
