Ilford Obscura, in box?
« on: November 14, 2013, 03:33:37 PM »
Just noticing that none of the retailers handling the Obscura mention the film and paper it was originally going to ship with. Have these additional items been deleted from the package?

Thanks Mike,

I'm in the US and B&H, Adorama, nor Freestyle list the film or paper as coming with the camera. I wonder if perhaps Ilford leaves these out of the export camera. I'm thinking that it's not in the box sold here because all three of the aforementioned retailers list the supplies that come with a Ilford Titan pinhole camera but nothing with the Obscura.

I have tried to e-mail Ilford but never got a reply. I never know if they simply didn't get my message, or they replied and somethings is wrong at my end. I have checked my spam folder, nothing there either.

Might have answered my own question. Checked another outfit, Ultrafine Photo Warehouse, and they show it available with the paper and film. Just curious why 3 other well known retailers failed to mention the film and paper as it is about $20 worth of material included with the camera.
