Let me show off your images
« on: October 10, 2013, 01:52:55 PM »
Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get some traffic for my blog and instead of doing all the work myself, I thought I'd ask everyone to help ;D I have just created a new Flickr group (sorry, it's still the easiest way) and out of all images added each week I'll pick my 5 favourites and create a blog post. I did this for a while for another blog (talesonfilm.com) and it was a fun way to explore new photography.

But there's digital in that pool is there not? Why don't you keep with tales on film? I keep submitting. Is tales on film over with?

Hey Tintin,

yes digital isn't against the rules in the pool, however most shots are still film. And as I'm going to pick my favourites not many digital images will appear on my blog ;) But I didn't want to exclude good digital images.

Tales on Film is more or less dead. I'd rather spend the time working on my own blog than on a site that was once a great resource, but where it's now unclear if it will ever be revived.

Just a thought, but you could turn off uploads from members and pick your shots from tales on film and invite them to be showcased in this group. That way you can use tales on film and also use this new group.

Thanks TinTin, I hadn't thought about it. I might give it a go.
