Hello from Germany
« on: July 22, 2013, 10:17:34 AM »
Hi everybody,

my name is Folker and I just joined filmwasters.
I am in photography for more than five decades now and I still enjoy!
I have my own darkroom. I shoot 35mm, MF and LF.
So I am an old dino in B&W, only analogue from film to prints.
The only hybrid way is getting my images online.

Hello Folker,

welcome to Filmwasters from a fellow German (from Munich). May I ask where you're based? It seems like we'll be able to pull of a small filmwasters meetup in Germany if we continue like this  ;D

Welcome Folker! Your name seems familiar, are you a member on other forums?

Yes! That's what I've been wondering, too.

Hi all,

thank you for the warm welcome!

For those interested: I live in Bielefeld, a bit north of Munich ;-)

And to the forum detectives: Yes, I hang around in other forums (fora?): APUG, FADU, LF forum... and...some German groups.

I really do not know why I chose another one, must be some kind of special affinity ;-)

I had sworn to cut back internet activities ;-))

Not that one, Urban,
but aphog, Hassi, Leica, GF Forum, Fotoimpex,

all these admittedly more or less occasionally.

It is too much, I have to go out and shoot!

But it´s way too hot here today.

Welcome you are Folker. Cosiest spot on the net. Rather recent member myself.

I spent a lot of time over on RangeFinderForum before coming here. Went back to have a look last week to see if things had changed, but alas no. Same bickering and infighting over minutae as has been for a long time, tiring business. Here, on the other hand, things are much more easy going. Hope you get to share your experiences with us.
