No offence intended, but I'm getting kind of bored of tintypes. All the portraits look the same for the most part. It is interesting to see how the skin makes textures and tones because everyone is different in that sense, but I would way rather see more of the work Ian Ruhter is doing where he is taking this practice out into the field and taking this all to the next level.
I like tintypes and I like the idea and process behind it, but I'm getting bored of the portraits.
